  2. Oh Meeshka,

My mom and I just heard about Nova. We are so sorry. We are glad that he's in doggie heaven now, and doesn't have to take stool softener or have tsunamis of poo anymore.

You told such great stories about him - looking like a giant purse -but it was clear that you loved and cared for him.

I send you wet Husky kisses and my mom sends hugs to your humans.

  5. oh Meeshka, so sorry to hear about the old guy Nova's passing. He's probably running around at the Rainbow bridge, happy to be well again. We sure enjoyed your stories about him. (((hugs))) to all of you.

Oh, I'm so, so sorry. I know that all of you loved Nova, and I am certain *he* knew it too. They always know, I think.

I very recently lost my sick kitty, Zima, who had been my baby for over eleven years, since she was a tiny baby. (Her eye problem turned out to be cancer.) I think of my baby girl a thousand times a day---even surrounded by my sweet husband and five other critters I adore, my loneliness for Zima can hit me like a fist. All I can think to get through it is, this is the price we pay for the unmeasurable love our animals give us throughout their lives. The hurting is the closest we can come to repayment of a vast and precious debt.

Where Nova is now, he's healthy and strong... there are no fences, and no leashes... Nikki's there... and they're having a blast, digging the biggest Husky-tunnel ever. Best part? No matter how filthy they get during their excavation project, there's no such thing as a bath in Husky Heaven!

  8. I'm sorry,
I know how you feel. We lost our dog Scooter this weekend after 14 years. Same sort of thing - I miss him. Here is my little tribute written before he passed:

    Maybe you have similar feelings.

I was sorry to hear about Nova's passing, Meeshka. His wonderful dogginess, in all its glory, came through so well in your stories about "the old guy." You and your family have my deepest sympathy.
