Blogathon: How Do We Know You're Posting in Real-Time?

Hey everyhusky (dog and girl-girl),

I think one of the most frequently asked question is “Do you do this all throughout the night or can you post ahead of time and just upload the posts”.

The spirit of blogathon is for all bloggers and their readers to stay up all night and “work” for their charity. While you can do some things ahead of time (some do very creative artistic things that take time) you have to post on the fly each half hour. So even if you do some things beforehand, you still have to post something on the half hour about stuff that you’ve done beforehand.

The only thing I’m doing beforehand is gathering a list of topics to blog to you all about. A lot of it will come from your comments throughout the night, as I’m sure you’ll have questions. I’ve also asked the crack (or is that cracked) bunch of volunteers from Harnessed to Hope to come up with ideas for contests throughout the night.

Just to prove to you that I’m actually there, not asleep on the human woman’s pillow, while a program throws stuff up on the blog, I will be asking for a cartoon concept sometime during the blogathon. Within an hour of a suggestion, that cartoon will be posted, and whoever’s concept I use will win a prize.

Also, during blogathon, there will be a VERY special HULA induction.
