Too Hot

Its hot, too hot, too hot to move from the vent.

Here is a bird's eye view of what we'll be doing all day.

  3. Oy! It's a schvitz bath out there!

HuMom insists that I go out to potty but I resist. I can hold my bladder for 24 hours. So I pancake myself against the floor forcing her to pick me up, take me outside and squeeze me and then I run back inside to the AC.

If anyone has fun ideas how to annoy the HuMom while I am stuck inside, I'd love to know.

  4. It's hot here too. I had to stay outside while my humans went to church and I am sure it got to 1,745 degrees. My neighbor says I have a perfect yard to be left out in ... shade, a comfy porch that's shady and fresh ice cold water (courtesy of my Mom.) But it's still hot.

BTW, you are fortunate that your vents are on the floor and not in the ceiling. I have some of both.

  5. Nice work getting the vent, Meeshka! I do that, too. Woo.

  6. Appears to be the blog topic of the week. The Herd just complained about the heat over the weekend. However (brace yourself, Meeshka, for the horror), the Herd does not have air conditioning. Yes, that is correct, there is no air conditioning in the Herd's house, so we just suffer. Trust me that the humans whined all weekend as well.
P.S. - Of course, maybe it is not quite as hot here as elsewhere, but still . . .

  7. My HuMom wanted me to tell your Mom that her Sibe drawings crack her up. She keeps going back to this one particular one and laughs & laughs.

  8. Because of the storm we were out of power all weekend too, so no air conditioning here either. Mom did get the pet door to the basement back open. Plus she set ice cubes in the large water bowl and set up a pool where we could splash to our hearts content.
