Welcome, welcome everydog to the Week of 100! Yes, 100 posts in only 5 days, what was I thinking?
The human woman had to be properly motivated to get up and write this post, and I’m pretty sure that by the end of the week her legs will look like spaghetti from all the motivational clawing I’ll have to do.
I was going to goof on that Jerry Lewis guy, who always makes such a big to-do about his annual telethon. I mean come on, its not like he actually stays awake for 24 hours and entertains people, they’re always doing little sketches and have video informational things for their cause, and he even has guest telethon hosts who ramble on for hours and hours, while he sleeps. Mainly these guest hosts are has-been actors or someone nobody has heard of and don’t care about and the painful level of the whole broadcast cranks up to a point where having your claws pulled out with pliers would be less painful. Then toward the end, he looks all exhausted and weepy and sings that “never walk alone” song and people cheer and all that.
That’s just like blogathon. The human woman complains about staying up all night, but for the past two years she’s zonked out WELL before the end of the thing, while I have to stay up and finish, then she wakes up, all rested and ready to complain about how tough it is.
Anyhoo, I was really going to goof on that Jerry Lewis guy some more, but apparently he’s packing heat in airports (which is pretty ballsy in this day), so I’ll just let that go for now, out of fear that he’ll find out where I live and force me (by gun point) to listen to that “never walk alone” song over and over again. ...maybe the human woman went to go get woo a cappuccino? We'll be popping in & out, our very own Boy is here visiting and we are keeping him busy entertaining us. (But, unlike Uncle Jack, our boy always brings good things, not death & disaster)
