To answer some questions left in the comments:

Yes I will be sharing all of the entries so everypup can see that their human is AS pathetic as the next, so you aren’t alone.

She named the pimple Larry. I don’t know why, I’m not asking, I don’t care.

The humans went to starbucks (after the human woman had to yell at Verizon again because they dropped their call forwarding, but still charged them for it and they’re still waiting for the Directv guy to come back and put on a new dish), and she came back with some donuts for breakfast tomorrow, which actually bodes well for her being a lot more coherent than she was this morning.

When Khyra asked if the human woman was dressed correctly... that depends on your definition of khorrectly. If you mean “was she wearing sleeping pants and a t-shirt” then the answer is yes. Were they on the proper parts of her body... its just too embarrassing to go into.

There was a loud shrieking noise early today when apparently the human woman thought the human man was in the bathroom... except it wasn’t him. I’m not going into details there either except to say that doors do come with locks, why aren’t they used more often, humans are so stupid.

Where have I been? Well, I've been supervising the preparation of the tasty meats for grilling, that's where. Its vital that huskies be a part of the preparation process so they can ensure that the meats are seasoned just right (with a bit of kitchen floor gunk and our tongues) and to clean up any messes that get spilled quickly so that the humans don't slip on anything.

Unfortunately our assistance is NOT appreciated in this house. We were patiently waiting for things to be dropped so we could pick them up. What's the best way to do this? Well, the proper management style is to lay right in front of the area where the food is being prepared. I was on my air vent doing quality control, Sam was sprawled in front of the dishwasher and Loki had dutifully spread out his ample ass in front of the other counter when we were fired.

Yep, fired from our jobs. We were forced to supervise outside of the kitchen, which is ineffective and dangerous (I'm contacting OSHA about this). How on earth can we lick up spills from out here?

Sure, the human woman tried to bribe us later with food, but that's not the point. Sure we got our nightly livergreat, but still, that's not the point! I'm filing a grievance with the Husky Union about this!

We just got done with lunch (the usual mix) and then we shared some cheese and crackers with the human woman (she had no choice).

I wanted to mention that this morning’s bagels had strawberry jam on them, and not the tasty strawberry cream cheese that the humans bought to put on the bagels. You may be asking yourself why they didn’t choose to smear on the tasty strawberry cream cheese... well, as usual, as Turbo would say “humans are stupid” and they actually left the strawberry cream cheese in the truck while they drove around all day on saturday, then realized it was in there when they picked up Uncle Jack at the airport.

At least they had the common sense not to trust strawberry cream cheese that had been festering in a hot truck for a full hot day, but still. I’m sure that would have been tasty had they not forgotten it, had they shared it, and had Sam not snuck around and gotten some of the tasty strawberry jam bagel without sharing.

Word from the human mail list is that Gustav is packing a punch down in MayaMarie area, but the weather people and reporters who are like vultures are making it seem more horrendous than it really is, at least in their area. The pups are getting to do their “business” inside, but not in the white porcelain drinking bowl. Their humans don’t want them to go outside because there is a lot of debris and they don’t want something to come flying off a house and land on them, so that’s pretty cool I think.

Ok, if you’ve made it this far through the blog, I am now announcing a CONTEST!!!!!

I’m going to be mean this year and not tell you what you are going to win until someone wins it. hehehe, hey, its my week of 100, I can do what I want! Don’t worry, I’m not going to be mean and send winners some of the junk laying around the house, although the human woman did offer the broken and nasty steam cleaner as a prize, only because she’s too lazy to drag it to the dump. Unless someone actually wants a broken nasty steam cleaner, then we can haggle after you win.

Ok, this is the contest:
You have until 5pm tomorrow (2 September 2008) to send me (at: meeshkaworld@gmail.com) a picture of your humans. This picture must be taken from a dog’s perspective, how they see their human. No faces, if faces are included in the picture, they will be cartooned over... and you probably don’t want my interpretation of your human, but if you do, then go for it, it’ll be funny. The winner will be decided by whoever sends a picture that makes me piddle a bit when I laugh and if all of them are like that, then I’ll let the Mutatoe decide through a draw. So, submit your picture of your human from your point of view, you have until 5pm tomorrow to submit, then one of the entries will be the announcement of the winner.

legal attorney at claw speak: if you send me a picture you are authorizing me to use the pictures in my week of 100 to mock and ridicule your humans or do what I wish and you can’t stop me.

Its time to reveal a covert HULA operation that, unfortunately, failed recently.

I'm sure you are all aware that sometimes we must keep covert HULA operations very secrety secrete because we know that the humans infiltrate our blogs and intercept our private messages via e-mail. We were pretty sure that we would succeed with this mission, but we didn't expect a catastrophic failure of our disguise.

Yes, everypup, we had planted a covert HULA operative as a potential Vice Presidential candidate. We even snickered at the name we gave the operative and felt for sure that the name alone would have given away our plan, but we just couldn't resist. To our amazement, the candidate was in the top running for getting picked.

The whole plan was to have our candidate wait until the day of voting, and then that covert operative would tell every human to vote for Tubey and Khyra for President and Vice President. It would have been a sure fire thing, but as I mentioned before... there was a structural integrity issue with the costume (never trust Bangledesh silk worms to knit you a human costume... I'm just sayin).

So yes, during a recent photo opportunity, the hotel where the event was being held was serving livergreat on crackers and our covert operative couldn't resist... who can blame him.

So, here is the horrible unveiling of our dastardly deed.
Pictured to the right is Governor Tim PAWlenty (get it... PAW!!!), who is actually Windswept Siberian Snowfall of the Wunderlands (stupid human name) aka: Britches. Britches spent a year in a special school to learn how to walk upright, use a opposable thumbs, and promise the world everything without laughing. Once the announcement was made about the livergreat and crackers, Britches lost all composure, forgot all of his training and started begging. The suit could not hold his exuberance and ripped, exposing his true self. Sigh.

Rest assured, we have other covert operatives out there working hard to ensure the U.S. is ruled with an even paw by Tubey, but still PAWlenty, they're so stupid they didn't even see through that.

On Saturday night, Uncle Jack arrived.

In a nutshell:
1.) Uncle Jack comes out every year on the first week of September
2.) Uncle Jack causes natural disasters when he visits
3.) Thing break when Uncle Jack comes
4.) Famous dead people die when Uncle Jack comes
5.) We like Uncle Jack

Some quick examples of Uncle Jack's work:
Katrina
September 11th
Gustav (yes, its his fault, and Hanna may be a double banner year of destruction)
Princess Diane
Steve Irwin
There are so many more, just do a timeline search on the first week of September, and if it was bad... blame Uncle Jack.

Ok, as I was saying, Uncle Jack arrived late Saturday, and as we were all napping in our crates after a very tasty kong goody, we were a bit sleepy and disoriented when the humans came home with him.

Usually when a new person comes over, we spend a good 15 minutes attacking them. Hey, its a new person, they need to learn the taste of the claw and they need to spend 15 minutes of undivided attention to us and the best way to accomplish that is to leap on them, knock them down, stomp on them, claw them and bounce off of them. Ask Indy's human woman (by the way, the ear looks great, way to heal... that should be the only way that word "heal" is ever used when it comes to huskies)... anyhoo back to the story.

We were sleepy, so when we sensed a new human entering our domain... well, we did what comes naturally. It wasn't until it was too late that we discovered that it was Uncle Jack, therefore no greeting other than one claw, one jump (each) and then total indifference unless he's holding food was necessary. So, yeah, sorry about that well place front double paw punch in the nether-regions Uncle Jack. I think the humans have frozen peas in the freezer for that.

The humans had bagels and refuse to share with us... although Spineless Bionic Hip puppy did have a hint of strawberry preserves on his breath and seemed rather pleased with himself.

The rule here is to divide and conquer. Normally there are only two humans here, so between the three of us, that's easy to supervise. Sam gets one human, Loki gets another, and I am the roaming supervisor, making sure that one human is not giving away treats. The job of each pup is to yell at the other if they are getting human foods so that we can rush in and get our share. Unfortunately, this method relies on the honesty of huskies that can't be trusted. I've seen both of them getting treats and not alerting the others so they can get maximum treatability.

I suspect that happened in the case of the bagels. Sam was in the bedroom with the human woman, while Loki and I carefully guarded Uncle Jack and the human man. I suspect that Sam was getting hand outs and didn't alert us. All the more reason why I need to move up my plans to ship him out to California so he can snuggle with Frankie. If he's not going to share, then he can just go away.

Good lord, I can’t even trust the human woman to count. I said post 4, she types post 5. I explained the number 4 by the number of claw marks on her arm for messing that up.

The humans were waiting for a repair person to show up, yes, Uncle Jack is here, so things break, that’s normal. The phone call this morning was the repair person saying he wasn’t going to get there until the afternoon, now the humans are all cranky about how this affects their starbucks run. Everything revolves around starbucks around here, but I should be thankful. Its that coffee goodness that gets the humans moving every day. If it wasn’t for that, who knows if they would be able to operate the can opener for us.

(5 minutes passes)

Speaking of coffee, the stupid human woman stopped in mid post and went up for coffee, then she got lost, then she forgot the coffee cup, then she went back upstairs and forgot what she was doing up there, so I had to herd her back down here AND make sure she remembered her cup.

I’m pretty sure that we’ll need to hire me a care giver if they keep getting senile. I don’t think that I would write it like this stupid human though. My favorite part is the last line, where she’s upset when someone told her that the ad was accurate. Um, don’t ask for an opinion if you don’t want the real answer.

I see that the Kapp pack has to deal with an itchy human woman. What's with this whole poison ivy thing? Can't they stay out of the poison ivy? I'd like to point out the added benefits of a drugged up, sleepy human woman to the Kapp pack, but I'm sure they have already discovered the fun that is... goofy drugged up human woman. I expect good tales coming from their exploitation of this.

My human woman is recovered from the itchy poison ivy, moved straight into a cold (with wonderful, bountiful kleenex buffet), then moved straight into a lovely sinus infection (no kleenex involved in that unfortunately) and then developed the most wonderful pimple on her nose. It was so embarrassing that I wouldn't be seen in public with her. She kept trying to hide it with various make ups and creams, but that just made it angrier and larger. I was a bit concerned that it may try to take over her entire face, but apparently its now healing. I'm glad for that, since I was tired of hearing the human man yelling "DON'T PICK AT IT" all the time.

So, see for yourself, was it as horrible as she was making it out to be? You decide (and no, no prizes for deciding, those will come... geez, I have 95 posts to go you pups, don't be so greedy)

I want to give a shout out to MayaMarie, the husky in the window, who I hope isn’t in the window because they are pretty close to where Gustav (thanks to Uncle Jack) is fast approaching.

MayaMarie, Missy, Bella, and their humans actually tried to get away from the stupid Gustav, but the traffic was really bad, and they felt that they would be ok at home, so they turned around and went back home.

I’m worried about them, but I know their humans will do what they need to do to stay safe and keep MayaMarie, Missy, and Bella safe, but I’d like everyone to go comment on their evacuation post your good wishes for them to stay safe. While they may not be able to read it if they lose power, at least they will see that people had good wishes for them while they went through this icky storm.

If there’s anydog (or honorary husky cat or girl-girl) out there going through Gustav, you all have our good wishes that nothing bad happens and that everyone is ok.

The human woman said that she’ll post links on gimpydogs to nice charities and local help organizations once the stupid storm hits land and we know where the most needy pups and humans are so you can donate to them.

This morning, as I was just about to claw the human woman awake so she could get busy typing up my post, the phone rang. I hate when I’m interrupted from a good clawing. The phone call was nothing about me, so who cares, I’m just mad that I didn’t sufficiently awaken the human woman.

If she gets up on her own, she stumbles around, usually straight for the coffee pot and then it takes her hours and hours to actually be coherent.

If I claw her awake, she wakes up really quick and moves very fast to do my bidding.

She’s currently sipping a cup of coffee and looking at me bleary eyed and actually came up with this suggestion... you’ll never believe this one:

why don’t you just do the 100 bottles of beer on the wall for posts? You know, 1 post would be:
100 bottles of beer on the wall, 100 bottles of beer. You take one down, pass it around....

then the next post will be: 99 bottles of beer on the wall.

I clawed her, don’t worry, that’s not going to be happening.

Welcome, welcome everydog to the Week of 100! Yes, 100 posts in only 5 days, what was I thinking?

The human woman had to be properly motivated to get up and write this post, and I’m pretty sure that by the end of the week her legs will look like spaghetti from all the motivational clawing I’ll have to do.

I was going to goof on that Jerry Lewis guy, who always makes such a big to-do about his annual telethon. I mean come on, its not like he actually stays awake for 24 hours and entertains people, they’re always doing little sketches and have video informational things for their cause, and he even has guest telethon hosts who ramble on for hours and hours, while he sleeps. Mainly these guest hosts are has-been actors or someone nobody has heard of and don’t care about and the painful level of the whole broadcast cranks up to a point where having your claws pulled out with pliers would be less painful. Then toward the end, he looks all exhausted and weepy and sings that “never walk alone” song and people cheer and all that.

That’s just like blogathon. The human woman complains about staying up all night, but for the past two years she’s zonked out WELL before the end of the thing, while I have to stay up and finish, then she wakes up, all rested and ready to complain about how tough it is.

Anyhoo, I was really going to goof on that Jerry Lewis guy some more, but apparently he’s packing heat in airports (which is pretty ballsy in this day), so I’ll just let that go for now, out of fear that he’ll find out where I live and force me (by gun point) to listen to that “never walk alone” song over and over again. (This video is for you Khyra)
