Its grub season again.
I love grubs.
They are tasty.
I love digging the ankle breaking holes to get the tasty treats.
I love hearing the high pitched keening noise the human woman makes when she comes outside and sees all of the precious grassy grass now ripped to shreds.
I love that the fall grub season means that winter will be here soon AND WE BETTER GET SOME SNOW HERE IN MERRYLAND THIS YEAR!
I love cold weather.
I love putting my cold, wet nose on the human woman in the morning.

ReplyDeleteIts getting colder here now too, not time for snow yet though, that usually comes between December and March (if at all) I will keep my paws crossed that you get some, failing that I will pack some of ours up and send it to you if and when it arrives.

We've never had a grub, but we did see snow as pups. We hope to see snow again some day. Hope Merryland gets lots of snow this year.

Sure wish we got tasty grubs in our soil instead of the not-tasty stinky beetles that are here. So if you don't get snow, we hope you have a blizzard of tasty grubs to make up for it.
