The evil squirrels have been trespassing in my yard again, so I have a plan to catch them.
I dressed up as a leaf pile and I'm laying very still and quiet, just waiting for them to come out of the trees and into my yard, at which point I'll leap up with superhusky quickness and get those squirrels.
So far they aren't fooled by my disguise. Maybe I need some more leaves.
Yes, there a FEW spots on your bakhk that khould use a FEW more!

A few more leaves might be a good idea. Or you could wait for snow and cover yourself in that, then they'll NEVER spot you!

I recommend digging a hole, rolling around in the dirt, and then lay very still until they think you are the yard and then...SUPER POUNCE!
ReplyDeleteThat's what I am going to do.
OZ
Great idea, but maybe you should try some camouflage instead of camoflauge--just a thought!
ReplyDeletegood plan - maybe sprinkle a few acorns around woo, too. That'll lure them closer....

I can send you some acorns, I will send them your way.

I think its a great plan. Maybe you could put some peanut butter on yourself to help attract them.

Hi Meeshka,
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a great plan, I sure hope it works.
Hugs, Sooky
You'll get 'em, Meeshka.
ReplyDeleteAnother idea is to do like the Planters commercial, and rub yourself with cashews. They'll come running, then!
Yup, more leaves would help, but those squirrels are smart. At our old house we had 12 squirrels who'd come to our squirrel feeder and they knew exactly how far Cooper could go on his chain that was attached above on a wire between the house and the garage. They'd come right up to within 3 feet to tease him.

A few more leaves could not hurt. It is a pretty good disguise thus far. Stop by and see me. Love your blog.
