Mutatoe came inside after running around in the snow acting like he fractured his back leg.
The screaming, the limping, the pathetic wailing and yodeling...
Even the snow kicks his ample ass.

Mutatoe Versus Butterfly
I mean, do I really need to go into any great detail about how that ended up.
He's an embarrassment to all huskies.

The Nose Knows
The Human Woman is selfish and greedy.
She knows how much I love bananas, and yet the other day she tried to sneak a banana without sharing it with me.
She must have masked the noise of peeling the banana somehow, probably by running the water from the faucet, otherwise I would have heard it, but I detected the distinct odor of banana on her breath the moment she leaned down to pet me, no doubt out of guilt for eating a banana without sharing it with me.
When will she learn that our keen senses will betray her guilt to us each and every time. Sometimes I think that humans are just beyond training, they just can't seem to learn anything.
The next thing you know she'll be hiding somewhere in the house to satisfy her selfishness... but we will find her
Yes... we will always find her.

Tipsy Human Woman

No, she's not at the chocolatinis again, she got new glasses.
Normally I don't draw her with glasses on because, well, I'm lazy, and she prefers not to be drawn with glasses on. I actually convinced her to let me show you the new glasses, so here they are. She says she looks like a dork, and you know... for the first time, she's right!
On top of getting new glasses that make her look like a dork, these are those fancy "progressive" glasses. No, that doesn't mean fashionable or trendy, that means old people bifocals, but in a nicer way.
Apparently it takes a while for humans to get use to this new "progressive" stuff, and they are correct, as the human woman now tips over easily. This is great for getting at her food or just knocking her down when we feel like it. I like these new glasses, even though I refuse to be seen with her outside when she's wearing them.

Hero dog... pffft
I just read a story about a dog that saved its human by calling 911. Apparently the owner has seizures and the dog is trained to call 911 when the human collapses.
Big deal. I mean come on! This happened to me last week and there's no big story about my bravery!

Odds and Ends
The human woman has spent an awful lot of time outside without us, letting us out, we sniff, nothing new, wonder what she's doing? She did shriek earlier when we got too close to the railing thing, and she mentioned something about stain, but I'm pretty sure that Sam and Loki didn't go anywhere near it, so I don't know how it got stained.
She also seems to have cleaned up that entry way out back, there are none of the good smells or bugs there anymore. She always seems to "fix" things that don't need to be fixed. Tasty bugs and smells should be left alone, if you ask my opinion (which apparently she never does).
Since she's been outside getting all sweaty, I've taken advantage of the unguarded powerbook and
put some more cool things up on my cafe press site. One of them everypup should have, and that's the new livergreat design. You should make your humans wear it on a shirt so they never forget to buy you some.
I also put a cartoon up there, I'll be adding more stuff with my fluff soon, so keep checking.

Oh, I almost forgot, for some reason Spineless Bionic Hip Pup Sam wanted me to say hi to Frankie, and he says that he thinks you are cute. Oh brother.

Hobbies
I was reading Poppy's blog about the adventures of scrapbooking. Poppy looks very comfortable on the little table bed, supervising the placement of pictures in the scrapbook.
It made me think of two things:
1.) Why don't I have a bed on the table where I can supervise artsy craftsy things and the eating of food.
2.) Why doesn't my human woman do any scrapbooking.

Yeah, I guess that's why she doesn't do that kind of thing.

Brought to you by MeeshKo
Anyhoo, she happened to catch sight of these nifty little items. Apparently they are slippers that the humans wear, and as they walk about, the slippers dust the floors for them. Ok, this just clinches just how lazy humans are, if they can't be bothered to pick up a mop or duster thing and actually clean their own houses, then the world is ours to conquer.
To her credit, she thought it was a stupid idea as well, since we have carpet and these slippers would not be very helpful at all in helping her clean up after our fluff. She muttered something about the creator of these slippers getting rich and being able to stay home with their dogs all day and wait on them hand and foot (while wearing their dusting slippers of course).
This got me to thinking, if I could come up with something that humans with dogs could wear that would help them clean up our fluff, then we wouldn't have to listen to that stupid Dyson all the time, and they humans would have plenty of time to spend with us.
Therefore, here is my latest invention: The fluffy slippers:

Made from a space age polimer slipper, the fluffy slippers are really cool because they're just like those stupid wheelie shoes that kids wear in the form of lint rollers. The humans can whiz around the house (and when I say whiz, I'm not talking about how Sam whizzes around the house) and clean really quickly so they can play with us.
Of course the human woman has no balance whatsoever and keeps falling down, so I need to work with her to get her to stay upright for the infomercial I'll be filming and then I'll make a zillion dollars and I'll buy a maul for all of us huskies to play in.

Ah, the Days of Funky

I wanted to thank Thor for awarding me the funky blog award. I try my best to maintain my overall funkiness.
I remember the good ol days back when I was a young pup, touring
with George Clinton, Bootsy Collins and P-Funk. HOOO, were those the zany days of fun! I still have the goldfish high heels that Bootsy gave me during a drunken stupor. I ate the fish, but the boots are pretty cool and fun to chew on.I want to award the following the "funky blog award" (and as usual, in my laziness, I'm not telling them... I have claws to sharpen): Charlie (cuz he's had a ruff time of it, and he is funky), Ayatollah Mugsy (just cuz he cracks me up), and Maverick the Pirate, just because.

No More Human Puppies

I had the human woman spayed. I had to, she kept getting out of the house and running around. Who knows who she was meeting up with, and frankly she's not the best breeding stock there is. With all the aches and pains and ingrown toenails the human man complains about, and her never ending issues, I felt it was best for mankind to just have her fixed and make her a pet quality human.
I doubt if she would ever be show material, she just doesn't have the patience to sit in the ring and I know she'd cop a tude when the judges would look at her, she just can't keep her mouth shut or sit still, always up and doing something.
As soon as she heals up I'm thinking of taking her in for obedience or maybe some agility training, although she is very klutzy and will probably fall off the teeter totter thing. It could be that she's just worth keeping around the house and waiting on me hand and foot.
Guess that's what I'll do with her.
